Peel Fresh Peaches

This is a great technique to peel fresh peaches or tomatoes with ease.



1. Lightly score crosses in the bottom of the firm, but ripe peaches, making sure that you pierce the skin whilst scoring.


2. Bring a large pot of water to the boil. Meanwhile set up an big bowl of icy water in the sink.

3. Blanch the peaches in the boiling water for 45-60 seconds, then immerse in the icy water.


4. Let sit for about 1-2 minutes. Peel away the skin, starting from the crosses. Repeat.
